While in the past week there was no assessment due, the week was still rather busy. The research presentation, although there were nerves, went fairly well. The only issues that occurred was the use of too many filler words and the presentation was a little bit too short. As for the remainder of the week, the interview with the catheterization laboratory technician went very well. The information learned was a lot more valuable than research conducted through articles, because seeing all of the equipment in person truly put things into perspective. As well as the equipment, the interviewee showed the placement of three stents on the left coronary artery. Having the opportunity to see the surgery with explanations from someone who actually participated in the procedure was extremely beneficial to the learning process.
This week’s goal completion, work ethic, and time management were fairly good. As for goals, with the interview being so helpful, there was less research to be conducted. Progress still needs to be made on the digital portfolio for completing all the tabs and information thus far. While there were no major goals work ethic and time management were high due to the continuous use of the Pomodoro Method which has proven extremely useful.
This weeks goals as well as goals for over Thanksgiving break consist of making a lot of progress on the digital portfolio and continuous research. Due to how busy the next two weeks will be, no interviews will be scheduled; however, calls plan to be made as soon as school starts again. In order to make headway on the Original Work, the research conducted over the next few weeks needs to be focused and all important. Overall, these next few weeks aim to be very productive.
