The past few weeks of ISM were, admittedly, not as productive as they could have been. While there was some progress made on the digital portfolio, due to a lack of self motivation as well as the ongoing assignments in other classes there has been a neglect for the original work. Due to this lack of progress, the next couple of weeks have to be dedicated and focused. This week will be focused on analyzing ten sources about surgical recovery, scheduling an interview, and cleaning up the digital portfolio for publishment.
As said before, progress was not as advanced as it should have been. There was a lack of commitment to the original work and work ethic was much lower than it should have been. As well as a lack of work ethic, there was less self motivation and time management. When school started again after break, a reality check was needed for there are only three weeks before the semester ends and a lot of work to do for the original work. Although overall work ethic and time management was low in regard to the original work, the weekly assignments due, such as last week’s original work have been completed ahead of time with a higher work ethic.
Due to the lack of work on the past few weeks this next week will be dedicated to working hard on the original work. Therefore, sources will need to be closely analyzed and sorted. Also, to provide further learning and work toward obtaining a mentor the goal is to conduct two more interviews one of which being within the next week. The digital portfolio and next assessment due both require focus and dedication. In order to allow further work time, the goal is to complete these assignments early. Overall, work ethic and time management need to be much higher in order to complete the original work successfully.
