After realizing the time constraints, work began to progress faster. Motivation has been higher and time management has been overall more efficient. Although not all goals were completed, they were worked towards. The goal was to have ten sources analyzed; however, only two have been completed. This is partly due to difficulty finding sources and partly due to feeling overwhelmed on where to begin. As for interviews, contact has been made with a professional and she is having difficulty with helping schedule interviews due to being so close to the holidays. The most progress was made on the digital portfolio. Having been unsatisfied with the original website, a new one was created. This meant starting over on weeks of progress and it was a lot of work to do in one week. The goal was completed, and the product is pleasing which was satisfying.
As for work ethic and time management, work ethic was high during the time worked. Time management during work time was efficient with pacing; however, procrastination could still be avoided. The high work ethic was very beneficial for work was completed quickly and effectively. This meant completing the assessment and digital portfolio was quick leaving time before the deadline to edit and make final touches.
Next week, goals will be focused on finding new contacts for interviews, analyzing more sources for the Original Work, and researching game design. Hopefully there will be more success with finding sources that apply to the Original Work. Overall, work ethic needs to stay just as high and time management needs to be even more efficient to avoid procrastination and make progress on the Original Work.
