1/21 - 1/27

In the past week of ISM, there were no large deadlines other than Assessment 13 which reflected over the first semester. The assessment was very valuable for it helped with realizing any issues that arose in the first semester and how to fix those for the rest of the year. As for other goals, an interview has been tentatively scheduled for January 31st with a nurse practitioner at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. One more interview is still in the works of being scheduled with another nurse practitioner at Medical City Children’s Dallas.

Work ethic and time management were very high next week with the assessment being completed in an efficient manner. These trends need to continue over the next week and throughout the semester so that the Final Product can be completed along with any other assignments.

This week’s goals include completing Assessment 14, attending the current interview and scheduling another, as well as further coding with the application prototype. The scheduled interview will be important for it will help provide a better understanding of discharge planning to help with app development from a medical standpoint. Coding needs to stay consistent and the code language “Swift” also needs to be learned in order to complete the application in time.
