The past week of ISM was very calm, with all assignments completed efficiently. The Original Work Presentation was much more calm than anticipated and went overall much better than expected. Many Swift lessons were completed and the assessment analyzed the interview conducted with my current mentor. Additionally, another interview was scheduled with a nurse practitioner who works with discharge planning at Children’s Medical Center Dallas.
Work ethic and time management were much higher with assignments being completed earlier and more coding was learned through the completion of multiple assignments. Although day to day time management was efficient, there needs to be overall more time management with the Final Product. Therefore, more coding needs to be learned at a faster rate and, due to being behind on personal deadlines for the Final Product, the coding for the application framework needs to be started on. Therefore, trends with daily work ethic and time management need to stay consistent; however, proactivity needs to be higher to facilitate progress on the Final Product.
Goals for the upcoming week include completing the self evaluation of the Original Work Presentation, and learning much more code. The framework code needs to be started on and coding needs to be completed daily. My mentorship is still being finalized, and a lot needs to be learned about discharge planning from this upcoming interview. Overall, much more needs to be completed to get back on track for the Final Product.
